Josh and Shyneal chose to celebrate their wedding with an intimate micro wedding at The Lookout Woodbury, surrounded by their closest family. Their relationship is built on a genuine friendship, and that feeling carried through the entire day. Relaxed, joyful and completely true to them.
These two have spent time travelling around Australia together doing van life, so it felt fitting that their wedding was simple, meaningful and focused on the people who matter most.
With the beautiful views surrounding The Lookout Woodbury (located just outside of Yeppoon), the setting couldn’t have been more perfect for their ceremony. It was quiet, personal and filled with the kind of moments that happen when a wedding day is shared only with immediate family.
After the ceremony we took some time to wander around the property for portraits, taking advantage of the stunning scenery and relaxed pace of the afternoon. Micro weddings have a special kind of atmosphere... no rush, no pressure, just the chance to really enjoy each part of the day together.
Josh and Shyneal’s wedding was a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful celebrations are the simplest ones. Good people, good food, beautiful surroundings and a couple who truly feel like best friends.
If you're planning a relaxed wedding or elopement in Central Queensland, I'd love to hear about your plans.
